Bramble House Nursery is a passionate, family-run setting, where we understand that every family is unique. We value the relationships we build with our parents and carers and always do our very best to accommodate the individual needs and wishes of our families.
We are proud to offer high-quality, affordable childcare and early years education, open from 7:30am – 6:00pm, all year round. To make life that little bit easier for our families, all meals, snacks and essential personal care items, including nappies and wipes, are included within our session prices. π₯°
πΆ Our Baby and Toddler Unit
Our baby and toddler unit has been thoughtfully designed to provide a warm, safe and stimulating environment where little ones can explore, discover and learn at their own pace. We also have a separate, cosy cot room, providing a peaceful and calming space for children to enjoy restful sleeps.
π‘ A Home-from-Home Environment
Our aim is to create a true home-from-home environment where every child feels safe, secure, loved and happy. Through a wide range of engaging and stimulating activities, we encourage children to have fun, explore their interests and develop essential skills.
We provide a variety of open-ended resources to encourage curiosity, creativity, language development and physical skills. Our ambitious and dedicated team of highly qualified practitioners support each child's individual learning journey, nurturing their social and emotional development and helping them grow in confidence and independence.

Butterflies Room
π¦ Welcome to Our Butterfly Room
Our Butterfly Room has been specially designed for our busy and curious 2–3-year-olds, providing a fun, stimulating and nurturing environment where little personalities can really begin to shine!
The room is thoughtfully arranged and continuously refreshed to encourage wonder, curiosity and exploration. We provide a variety of exciting activities and resources that inspire children to develop their language and communication, physical abilities and social skills, whilst gently supporting them as they begin to develop their independence and confidence. π
π± Learning, Exploring and Growing
At this important stage of development, we encourage children to become more independent, make choices and explore the world around them. Through play-based learning and exciting experiences, we support each child's individual interests, abilities and developmental milestones.
We also offer flexible funded sessions, carefully planned to help accommodate the individual needs of our children and families, ensuring every child has the opportunity to thrive.
π Your Child's Key Person
As in all our rooms, every child is allocated a dedicated key person who takes special responsibility for supporting their individual care, happiness and wellbeing. Building strong, trusting relationships is incredibly important to us, as we want every child to feel safe, secure and confident within their nursery environment.
We believe communication with parents and carers is an essential part of your child's journey. Wherever possible, your child's key person will be available at the end of the day to provide a personal handover, sharing special moments, achievements and important information about your child's day.
We also use Tapestry, our secure online learning journal and communication platform, which allows you to message your child's key person whenever you need to. It is a wonderful way to strengthen our partnership with families and keep you involved in your child's learning and development. π±

Dragonfly Room
Welcome to Our Dragonfly Room
Our Dragonfly Room is specially designed for our curious and growing 3–4-year-olds as they take their exciting next steps towards school readiness. This is an important stage in your child's journey, where confidence, independence and individuality really begin to blossom! π
πΏ Learning Indoors and Outdoors
Our Dragonfly Room has been thoughtfully designed with an open-plan layout and free-flow access to our garden area. This allows children the freedom to choose whether they would like to explore indoors or enjoy the wonderful opportunities that outdoor play provides.
We believe children learn best when they are given opportunities to explore, investigate and follow their own interests. Our stimulating environment offers a wide range of exciting activities and experiences that encourage curiosity, creativity, problem-solving and a love of learning.
π Preparing for Big School
During their time in Dragonflies, children begin preparing for their exciting transition to 'Big School'. We encourage them to develop essential life skills, build independence, make their own choices and grow in confidence as they discover more about themselves and the world around them.
Our highly trained and dedicated practitioners provide engaging learning opportunities whilst supporting each child's individual development. We place particular importance on nurturing social and emotional skills, helping children to build friendships, develop resilience, manage their feelings and become confident little learners.

We want every child to feel valued, listened to and encouraged to reach their full potential. Through play, exploration and meaningful interactions, we help prepare our Dragonflies for the next chapter of their learning journey.

At Bramble House, we use Ovivio, a secure online platform that allows us to capture, celebrate and share your child’s special moments, achievements and learning experiences throughout their time with us.

Ovivio gives parents and carers a window into nursery life, providing regular updates, photographs and observations so you can see what your child has been enjoying, exploring and learning each dayπ±. It also provides a convenient way to communicate directly with your child’s key person, helping to keep those important conversations flowing between home and nursery.
We believe that strong partnerships with families are at the heart of every child’s development. By sharing knowledge, experiences and insights, we can work together to understand each child’s individual needs, interests and achievements.
We also invite parents and carers to meet with their child’s key person three times a year to discuss their child’s wellbeing, progress and development. Together, we celebrate milestones, identify emerging interests and agree on meaningful next steps to support every child’s learning and individual journey.

At Bramble House, we believe every child deserves the very best start in life. Our nursery is a warm, welcoming and nurturing environment where little ones can grow, learn, explore and thrive.
Through fun, exciting and engaging activities, we encourage children to discover the world around them, develop their confidence, build friendships and learn new skills. From creative arts and crafts and messy play to outdoor adventures, Forest School experiences, music, cooking and imaginative play, every day brings a new opportunity to explore and have fun!
We believe in learning through play, celebrating every little achievement and creating special memories along the way. Our caring team is passionate about helping every child feel happy, safe, valued and loved.
At Bramble House, we believe in keeping things simple, with lots included in our hourly rate! This includes freshly prepared, home-cooked meals, healthy snacks, nappies, wipes and all the essentials your little one needs throughout the day. No hidden extras – just fantastic care, delicious food and plenty of fun, all included! β€οΈ

Afterschool & Holiday Club (4-12 years)
Welcome to Bramble House Holiday Club 4-11years! π¨
Join us for a fun-filled holiday club packed with exciting seasonal activities, adventures and plenty of festive fun! From exploring the outdoors with our Forest School activities to getting creative with arts and crafts, enjoying cooking sessions, taking part in fun competitions and so much more, there’s something for everyone to enjoy.
Children will have the opportunity to learn new skills, make friends, get creative and make wonderful holiday memories in a happy, welcoming environment.
And to keep little tummies full, we provide a delicious, freshly cooked dinner every day, prepared with care.
